Saturday, February 3 ~ Winter Ecology Festival: Sponsored by Mid-Coast Audubon, Tanglewood  4-H Camp & Learning Center and Merryspring. Dog sled demonstrations; live owls; Maine mammals, birds, bird feeding and much more. Hot drinks and refreshments throughout the day. A free event for the entire family, contributions accepted. Friday, May 18 – 20 ~  Warbler Weekend: Sponsored by Merryspring and Coastal Mountains Land Trust.  A talk and slide presentation Friday evening followed by a bird walk Saturday at Merryspring and Sunday at Ducktrap.

Saturday, May 19 ~ Merryspring’s Annual Plant Sale: the plant sale worth waiting for! 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the park offering perennials, herbs, rosemaries, some unusual plants and various used tools. Members have the advantage of buying early at "Members Only" night on Friday, May 18th, from 4 – 6 p.m.

Tuesdays, June 5  through August 28 ~ Tuesday Talks at Merryspring: A different speaker will be presented at noon every Tuesday. Bring a brown bag and learn about horticulture, nature, photography, art and more. Check local papers for each week's topic or call 236-2239. Talks are free for members; $5.00 non-members.

Saturday, June 23 ~ Lupine Day: Following the unveiling of 2007's crop of lupine seeds, a talk, demonstration, and slide presentation about lupine varieties and their culture to help participants establish lupine in their own home landscape. There will be lupine seedlings available for purchase, along with wildflower guide books, ash baskets, and other garden-related merchandise. Merryspring volunteers will also provide lupine activities for children

Wednesdays, July 11, 18, 25 and August 1 ~ Nature Walks: From 9am to noon for kids 6 - 12 years old. This will be a chance for your child to observe and learn about plants, bugs, birds, and geology. $15 per day, pre-registration at least 48 hours in advance. Includes a healthy snack of fruit, cheese & crackers.

Saturday, July 28 – August 1 (closed Sunday) ~ Cookbooks Plus! Sale: 9am – 3pm (Sat. 8:30am-1:30pm). Buy new and slightly-used cookbooks.

Wednesday, August 1 ~ Merryspring’s Annual Kitchen Tour: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Visit eight uniquely designed kitchens in the towns of CAMDEN, ROCKPORT, & LINCOLNVILLE, Maine. Enjoy demonstrations and tastings from specialty growers and chefs throughout the day.

Monday, August 13 – 17  and 20 – 24 ~ Children’s Ecology Camp: 9:30 - 3:30 for children who have completed 1st grade through 10 years old. This fun, week-long Ecology & Nature Camp centers on wildlife, environmental education, conservation and ecology, and will help children learn some basic rules and habits as they become more responsible citizens and stewards of the planet Earth.

Wedndesday, October 31 ~ All Hallows Eve: a chance to see 200 or so little "spooks" dressed up for Ashwood's All Hallows' Eve Celebration at Merryspring around dusk (4:00).

Saturday & Sunday, December 1 & 2   ~ Holiday Bazaar at Merryspring: Sat. 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sun. 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Each year during the "Christmas By the Sea" weekend, we offer a variety of plants, greens, wreaths, live arrangements and lots of exciting gifts for holiday giving and decorating. Pay special attention to the "Members Only" date of Thursday, November 29th  , from 2 - 7 p.m.
