Sunday, April 22 ~ Earth Day Tuesday, May 1 ~ May Day Celebration (tentative) Friday, May 18 – 20 ~ Warbler Weekend: Sponsored by Merryspring and Coastal Saturday, May 19 ~ Merryspring’s Annual Plant Tuesdays, June 5 through August 28 ~ Tuesday Talks at Merryspring: A different speaker will be presented at Thursday, June 21 ~ Summer Solstice ( Saturday, June 23 ~ Lupine Day: Following the unveiling of 2007's crop of lupine seeds, a talk, demonstration, and slide presentation about lupine varieties and their culture to help participants establish lupine in their own home landscape. There will be lupine seedlings available for purchase, along with wildflower guide books, ash baskets, and other garden-related merchandise. Merryspring volunteers will also provide lupine activities for children Wednesdays, July 11, 18, 25 and August 1 ~ Nature Walks: From 9am to noon for kids 6 - 12 years old. This will be a chance for your child to observe and learn about plants, bugs, birds, and geology. $15 per day, pre-registration at least 48 hours in advance. Includes a healthy snack of fruit, cheese & crackers. Saturday, July 28 – August 1 (closed Sunday) ~ Cookbooks Plus!
Wednesday, August 1 ~ Merryspring’s Annual Kitchen Tour: Monday, August 13 – 17 and 20 – 24 ~ Children’s Ecology Camp: Sunday, September 23 ~ Autumn Equinox ( Sunday, October 7 ~ Green Monster & Green Midget: Bike rides for conservation. Details TBA Wedndesday, October 31 ~ All Hallows Eve: a chance to see 200 or so little "spooks" dressed up for Ashwood's All Hallows' Eve Celebration at Merryspring around dusk (4:00).
