Thursdays, January - May ~ Watercolor Classes with Lesia Sochor open to all ages and ability levels. four-week courses $135 for members; $150 non-members. Registration limited to 10. Saturday, February 5 ~ Winter Ecology Festival 10:00 a.m. - 3 p.m. Live owls; Maine mammals, birds, bird feeding and much more. Hot drinks and refreshments throughout the day. A free family event. Friday, April 22 ~ Earth Day Saturday, May 7 ~ Astronomy Day: co-sponsored by the Central Maine Astronomical Society. Mark your calendar for this annual event when astronomers share their joy of astronomy with people of all ages.

Sundays, July - September ~ A Course on Identifying Wild Mushrooms with Greg Marley. Four Sundays from 9 - 11:30 a.m. With more than three decades of mycological teaching to his credit, Greg has a contagious mix of enthusiasm and expertise. Participants should be adults who are physically able to walk over uneven ground. Pre-registration required. $150 Members/ $175 Non-members, includes field guide. Wednesday, August 3 ~ Merryspring’s Annual Kitchen Tour: Sunday, October 31 ~ All Hallows Eve Enchanted Forest: at around 4:00 p.m. a chance for wee sprites and goblins to be guided through a jack-o-lantern lit wood filled with fairytale vignettes, and to enjoy twilight refreshments in the garden.
