7 Bettina Doulton CHEF AM & PM: Megunticook Market, Camden This 18th-century Lincolnville farm has a glamorous new life in the 21st century as the Cellardoor Winery, including a newly built, fully equipped teaching kitchen and event space. The new structure honors the look and feel of an old Maine kitchen with Shakerstyle cabinetry finished with distressed milk paint; an island wrapped in framed beadboard; oil-rubbed bronze bin pulls and plumbing fixtures; and reclaimed, rough-hewn pine flooring. Cooking classes will have the benefit of state-of-the art Viking appliances and a Wolf cook top, and guests will have plenty of room—35 feet of cabinetry along one wall; a 25-foot island; and a 30-foot bar top! LOOK FOR: Custom wrought-iron chandeliers and sconces, custom cherry-wood trestle tables in the dining room—and a gorgeous view of the vineyard.
