Field Trips & Outreach
Merryspring provides the perfect setting for outdoor learning. We offer field trips for schools, scouting groups, and other non-profit educational programs free of charge. Merryspring has ample room for bus parking, an indoor classroom space with projector, an outdoor gazebo, and open fields, gardens, and woodland trails.
We work individually with educators to construct programs that best fit their needs, lesson plans, and class sizes. Popular field trip topics include nature walks, identifying trees and wild plants, vernal pools, butterflies, nature art, birding, and trail-and-garden work service learning projects.
Multiple chaperones may be required for large groups.
To set up a field trip, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 236-2239.
