Goats and sheep are hardy, charismatic animals and very useful livestock. Jessie Dowling of Fuzzy Udder Creamery leads this presentation about how her farm started, uses for goat milk and products including yogurt and cheese, and tips for raising goats and sheep in Maine. Focus will be placed on raising livestock humanely with minimal environmental impact.
Dowling founded Fuzzy Udder Creamery in 2011. She has a master’s degree in food policy from City University in London, UK, and is based in Whitefield, ME.
