Free to All
Dr. Frank Drummond, Professor of Insect Ecology and Insect Pest Management at University of Maine will introduce walkers to the diversity and importance of our preeminent pollinators: the bees. After a 45-minute educational talk and slide show, the group will go out into the field to capture and identify the bees and other pollinators so crucial to the survival of our native plants. Bring a hand lens if you have one.
Jointly sponsored by Merryspring Nature Center, the Camden Conservation Commission, and Coastal Mountains Land Trust, this event is free and open to the public. Please leave your dogs at home for this and all Coastal Mountains Nature Program events
