There are many ways to start a perennial garden. In this talk John Fromer will speak about the numerous different methods of perennial propagation, including starting plants from seed, dividing establish plants, making cuttings, and rooting shoots. John will also speak about sourcing materials for the garden, seeds, and tools.
Fromer has been a Maine Master Gardener since 1998 and runs Appleton Ridge Flower and Vegetable Farm with his wife Kathy, also a Maine Master Gardener. Together they grow flowers, vegetables, and herbs in a sustainable and authentic fashion.
