Starting A Garden from Scratch with Sharon Turner
Fall is the best time to start planning next year’s garden. Turner’s presentation will outline simple, no-till, organic techniques to get any vegetable or ornamental garden ready for spring. She will also answer common beginner questions and offer tips for getting started in Maine’s growing climate.
Turner is a certified Master Gardener, consultant, educator, and designer based in Washington, ME. She specializes in heirloom and open-pollinated vegetable and flower seedlings, as well as native perennials, shrubs, and trees. She grows for FedCo seeds. Turner also holds a degree in clinical counseling.
