Conservation Landscape Certification Program with Rebecca Jacobs and Aleta McKeage – April 6
April 6th: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Rebecca Jacobs of Knox-Lincoln Soil & Water Conservation District will lead an online webinar on the newly developed Certification Program for Conservation Landscapes hosted by Merryspring Nature Center on Tuesday, April 6 at 12:00 pm.
A new offering from Knox-Lincoln Soil & Water Conservation District, landowners who enter the Conservation Landscape Certification Program receive guidance and ideas from KLSWCD staff to promote land conservation practices systematically. Rebecca Jacobs will lead this information session outlining how landowners can get involved to certify and document their own conservation work, along with help from program partners in the Natural Resources Conservation Service and other agencies. Participants will learn how to certify their own properties, which is a great way to promote conservation efforts, wildlife habitat, and make healthy, beautiful changes to the landscape.
Jacobs is the Program Manager of Knox-Lincoln Soil & Water Conservation District. She also operates her own gardening business, Gabriella’s Gardens in Camden.
This talk is part of Merryspring’s Online Winter Talk series, sponsored by Allen Insurance & Financial. All Online Talks will be held as Zoom webinars. Access to a computer or smart device is required. All guests must request a meeting link by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org to attend.
