Merryspring Nature Center will host an early winter Ecology Walk on Saturday, December 10 at 10:00 am.

Nature-lovers of all ages are invited to learn bout how Maine’s animals and plants prepare for winter. Guests will watch for winter birds, learn about winter animal behavior, look for tracks, identify leafless trees, and learn about the past year’s improvements to the Merryspring grounds.

This program is part of the Free Family Programs series at Merryspring, sponsored by Renys, A Maine Adventure. Space is limited, and guests must pre-register by contacting Merryspring at 207-236-2239 or info@merryspring.org.

Guests should wear weather-appropriate clothing and shoes, and be prepared to walk for one hour. In the event of heavy rain or snow, this program may be rescheduled.
