Melissa Andrews of Peace Ridge Animal Sanctuary speaks about the Brooks-located animal sanctuary and wildlife refuge on Tuesday, July 23 at 12:00 pm.

Andrews will speak about the heart of Peace Ridge’s mission and how the organization directly rescues, cares for, and advocates for farmed animal and equines. In addition to sharing stories of some of the animals in their care, Melissa will also highlight Peace Ridge’s commitment to holding a 650-acre wildlife refuge and how the organization coexists with the natural shared environment.

Melissa Andrews serves as Director of Development, Humane Education, and Outreach at Peace Ridge Sanctuary. Since its founding in 2001, Peace Ridge has rescued over 1100 animals that have been abused, neglected, or exploited.
