The State of Citrus in 2020 with Lynette Walther – June 23

Lynette Walther will share her experience cultivating citrus trees for more than four decades at a small specialty grove in northeast Florida. She will speak about growing citrus, provide a short history of the industry, and will address about a botanical pandemic now threatening citrus varieties around the globe.

Lynette Walther writes biweekly garden columns for The Camden Herald, and features for Maine Seniors, Maine women, Down East, Maine, Boats, & Harbors magazines. She is the GardenComm Gold medal winner for writing and a five-time recipient of the GardenComm Silver Medal of Achievement, and the National Garden Bureau’s Exemplary Journalism Award.
